Like 2010, when we played a strong road schedule, Bama has a tough road to tread this year if they want to be champs again. Also like 2010, they will be starting with some early tests outside of Bryant-Denny (Michigan and Arkansas, again) that a young D might be exposed more than is normal for Alabama defenses. Saturday Down South, a great blog, has Bama’s schedule ranked number #2 in the conference behind perennial doormat MSU. The odd years are typically better years for Bama because both Tenn and LSU come to Tuscaloosa, but that has been muted the past couple of years because UT sucks now. Also there are relatively easy road games for Bama with trips to Oxford and Starksville for their SEC West slate. But all of that shouldn’t matter too much because there is only really one game on the schedule and that is the LSU game in Baton Rouge.
